Sette Cama Lodge

Sette Cama offers a wealth of opportunities for fly fishing and spin fishing. Fishing takes place either from a boat (in estuary and lagoon systems) or from the shore, in the surf zone and at the lagoon mouth.

Gabon boasts the longest stretch of pristine coastline in Africa. Combined with an extensive system of nutrient-rich estuaries, this area offers avid saltwater anglers the chance to fish for unique West African species using both spinning and fly-fishing techniques. Large, spirited fish strike aggressively at properly presented flies or lures, all set against the magnificent backdrop of Africa's most unspoiled tropical rainforest. It is a unique saltwater fishing and ecotourism experience.

Sette Cama also offers guided nature experiences within Loango National Park. Visitors can observe chimpanzees, lowland gorillas, red river hogs, sitatungas, duikers, and monkeys, as well as forest elephants and buffaloes. The area is a prime location for birdwatching; species that can be spotted include the Vermiculated Fishing Owl (*Scotopelia bouvieri*), the Chocolate-backed Kingfisher, and the White-crested Tiger-heron.
